So, I don’t like everyone I follow. Sometimes, I just have this morbid fascination with people, or I get off a bit on criticising them for their every post.

There’s also this interesting dynamic that revolves around the inanity of tumblr in general, in which some of my most favourite and least favourite blogs are some of the most inane.

I don’t feel bad because tumblr is all just time-filler anyway.

My name is Tim and I'm 21.
I live in Auckland, NZ.

I like music. I would consider myself a somewhat proficient pianist. I'm about halfway through a degree in music education which I may or may not be in the process of completing. I believe political and social activism is something on which my livelihood depends, and that to be human is to be a political creature (at times, admittedly, with various degrees of ignorance). This tumblr, therefore, is likely to be made up of a combination of music and political/social issues. That's pretty standard for tumblr, I suppose, but I've had to learn to become unapologetic about this in real life scenarios.

(I also use facebook, last.fm and twitter. I have a flickr account which I used during my brief time at Occupy Auckland.)
